Bake for 22 – 27 min or until crust is dark golden brown

Bake for 30 min until golden (after 10 min. rotate)

FAQs
Why does juice leak out of the dough during baking?
-
Salteñas must be kept frozen while oven is being preheated to 420.
-
Oven temps vary. You might need to adjust 10 or 20 degrees higher or lower.
Why does the Salteña stick to the pan after it is baked?
-
For baking please use the wax paper provided as a pan liner, you may also use non-stick spray.
-
Once the Salteña is cooked please wait a couple of minutes before you pick up and enjoy.
